ST DAVIDS never gave up trying at in-form Swansea Uplands and received credit from coach Jack Dudley for the way they stuck to their task.
His side were 22 points down at half time and always had to keep their heads up under considerable pressure.
Tom Edmunds opened the Uplands account with a penalty before converting a try by Dai Lees and another from brother James Edmunds.
Mark Crimp then rounded off the first-half scoring with an unconverted try.
James Edmunds completed his hat-trick of tries as he sped over either side of a try by Ben Gainfort.
Two more conversions by Tom Edmunds sealed a third place finish for the Uplands.
