Goals from Daniel Bryce and Mike Turpin either side of half time ensured West Dragons defeated Carew to claim the division two cup at the Bridge Meadow Stadium.
The only goal of a tight first period was scored in the 41st minute. A cracking corner in the box fell kindly to Bryce to neatly slot in at the far post.
The decisive second goal was scored on 51 minutes. Carew defender Jake Davies failed to clear his lines and his mistake let in Turpin to neatly tuck past keeper Ben Evans.
It wasn’t a classic final, but a decent crowd turned up to enjoy a hard fought game that was played in the best of sporting spirit and Roy Boswell had a good game as referee.
West Dragons missed out on promotion by finishing third in the table, but this win ensures some silverware in their trophy cabinet.
