PEMBROKE Dock Harlequins provided another huge boost to their ‘points for’ total as they ran in no fewer than ten tries against Pontyates.
The Quins also kept a a clean scoresheet as an added bonus.
Half backs Adam Cawley and Dean Lawrence were able to use a massive possession advantage gained by Kevin Bratcher and co up front.
Lee Scourfield caused huge problems for the Pontyates’ defence with his direct running as the Quins were already 33-0 ahead at half time.
Scourfield helped himself to a try brace along with No 10 Lawrence, outstanding No 9 Cawley and winger Paul Jonkers, whilst Bratcher powered through for a first-half try and Sam Irwin also got his name on the try sheet after the interval.
Hooker Neil Brace slotted seven conversions to complete the Quins’ scoring against a Pontyates team that had no answer to either the power or pace of a strong and motivated Quins’ side.
