Division four west - NEYLAND travelled with a makeshift side for their match at table-topping Llanelli Wanderers.
They had uncontested scrums because they only had 15 players and no recognised front row.
It was always going to be a battle against a side that has lost only twice this campaign and had already won 29-0 in Neyland – and the All Blacks were struggling from the outset as they were 42-7 in arrears by half time. Tries came at regular intervals from centre Dan Rogers, hooker Dan Nicholas, winger Steffan Rogers, outside half Johnny Griffiths (2), full back Adrian Thomas, replacement wing Carl Evans, replacement full back Jeremy Phillips and centre Nick Gale. The latter who also landed six conversions alongside one by Griffiths.
Harley Tree played well in the linesout for Neyland as their tries came from centres Adam Collins and Patrick Bellerby, both converted by Mark Riley as the All Blacks showed true grit after the oranges to limit the scoring.
