Gary Nicholls scored a late penalty to earn Tenby a point at Johnston when all looked lost.

The Tigers were leading 3-2 when referee Phil Gale penalised the Tigers for a foul inside the box virtually on full time. Nicholls stepped up and coolly slotted home from 12 yards to rescue a point for Mike Lewis’ Seasiders.

Billy Vaughan opened the scoring on the 20-minute mark when he scored with a direct 20-yard free kick. The hosts equalised on 34 minutes as Luke Hayward clinically despatched from the penalty spot.

After the break the Seasiders took the lead for the second time in the match when Kyran Lewis struck from 12 yards out.

But the Tigers equalised as Mark Jones struck a sweet left foot strike that flew in the bottom corner. Four minutes from full time and Joe John scored with a peach of a header, but the final twist was smack on full time as Nicholls equalised from the spot.

In midweek, Tenby travelled to Monkton Swifts and came away with an impressive five-nil victory. Jordan Richards (2), Billy Vaughan, Darryl Mansbridge and Joe Worley bagged the goals.
