Tom Jones scored two goals to secure an impressive victory for Goodwick United over Narberth at Jesse Road.

Bernie Armstrong’s team need three points from their last two games to finish third in the table, whilst the Bluebirds will possibly finish sixth or seventh.

The visitors took the lead in the 11th minute when Jones headed home from a corner, but the Bluebirds equalised in the 33rd minute as Jordan Williams finished from inside the box.

The visitors played well in the second half and deservedly took the lead again when Jones added his second goal of the game with a firm header. Steve Blackford added his side’s third which found the bottom corner of Dan James’ net. Goodwick skipper Wayne O’Sullivan also found the back of the net, but was disallowed by referee Neal Lewis.
