THREE brothers from Pembrokeshire are in charge of an important West Wales Intermediate Cup semi final this Thursday.
The well known Boswell brothers have been appointed match day officials for the prestigious semi final cup tie where Dafen entertain Kilvey United on a neutral ground in Garden Village, near Gorseinon, Swansea.
Alan has been appointed referee alongside his brothers Dean and Roy who are assistants.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” said Alan. “It’s a bonus I’ve got my brothers with me. I would have preferred it to be the final, but it’s an honour.”
The Boswells between them have well over 30 years experience, so this important cup-tie is in extremely good hands.
The brothers created Senior Cup history back in 2010 when they were the first officials from the same family to take charge of a final. Roy was referee in that particular final when Goodwick United beat Merlins Bridge 3-1 on the Bridge Meadow, and his brothers Dean and Alan were his assistants.
