Haverfordwest County AFC Limited has struck a five-year sponsorship deal with the Conygar investment Company plc.
Conygar is a London based property investment company and already has several significant development projects in Pembrokeshire and has future plans for further investment in the county. As part of the contract, the name of Haverfordwest County AFC’s stadium will, in future, be known as “The Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium”.
County AFC’s commercial director David Hughes said: “Negotiations with Conygar were positive from day one and I would like to thank their board of directors for the massive support and belief that they have shown in our Club.
“We have a five year contract in place and we look forward to working with Conygar for at least this period. There is no doubt that Conygar will bring much needed inward investment and employment into Pembrokeshire and we welcome their involvement in our county.”
Conygar’s Finance Director, Peter Batchelor said: “We are delighted to be able to partner such a well run local club and have been very impressed by the commitment of those running the club and also with the positive efforts at academy and youth level which benefit the local community as a whole. We are pleased to become fans of the club and are really looking forward to the new season.”
