Narberth 0 Whitland 22 Whitland retained the Pembrokeshire knockout cup with a comfortable three try win over old rivals Narberth.
The Otters didn't even manage a single point as the Borderers' expected dominance up front paid dividends.
They were dominant at scrum and line out and although Narberth were eager to be involved in the loose they were never able to reach parity in set-pieces and conceded a penalty try in each half.
Alun Davies, Aled Harries, Andrew Morrillo, Carwyn Davies and Raff Williams called the shots up front alongside skipper Randall Williams, Celt Thomas and Ryan Michael.
They also had forward replacements to call upon with real experience like Phil Morgan, Romeo Colella, Jason Evans and Gareth Williams, all tried and trusted regularly in division one.
But at least Narberth could take some consolation from the fact that they pushed their neighbours all the way in the first period and should have been ahead at half time, had they taken their chances.
Whitland grabbed a penalty try right on the break which Aled Davies converted.
Narberth number ten Wes Pooley missed two penalty attempts and the Otters elected to kick to the corner on other occasions in their quest for tries as they played with the breeze at their backs.
Their best chance came to nothing after Sion Brace and Pooley set up an attack, but Mike Georgiou's final pass to Josh Freeman was high and the winger failed to pouch it .
After Pooley's first miss in the tenth minute, Whitland lost fly half Aled Davies for treatment to a suspected broken nose with their supporters howling protests about a late tackle.
When Davies returned the Borderers lost Morrillo for ten minutes after a late tackle that was spotted.
Davies came on to send a drop goal attempt wide after 37 minutes as Whitland finally broke out of defence and the fly half also kicked his team into the corner from where referee Nigel Owens decided that the Otters illegally collapsed a set-piece drive and awarded Whitland a penalty try that Davies easily goaled.
Whitland continued to dominate up front after the restart but Brace again inspired a Narberth counter with a brave high-ball take and corkscrew run that was supported by Andrew Davies and Jamie Bohata before the final pass again went adrift.
But Whitland half backs Andrew Jenkins and Aled Davies cleverly probed the corners and pinned the Otters back.
Freeman received a yellow card for Narberth and the Borderers added a second try after Dion Thomas had half a chance on the right flank and replacement flanker Phil Morgan charged down a Pooley clearance attempt and Eifion Roberts was held at the posts when he pouched the rebound.
It set the platform for a little Davies dink to the corner and a lineout won by Raff Williams, which allowed flanker Ryan Michael to be driven over the line, with Davies rapping the post from the difficult conversion attempt.
Davies dropped a neat goal from close range soon afterwards and Whitland seemed sure to score a try when Phil Morgan was put through by Celt Thomas, only for Sion Brace to hold him up over the line.
From the ensuing scrum five, however, Whitland drove hard. Referee Owens had little option but to award another penalty try for collapsing and Davies duly notched the extras to complete the scoring.
Narberth fought bravely throughout to show their spirit after the recent 47-0 trouncing by Whitland, but there was only going to be one winner once the Borderers scored on half time.
Randall Williams received the KO Cup from George Releen, the president of the Pembrokeshire and District Rugby Union. Phil Thompson, of Chevron Texaco presented trophies to the players and officials.
