The first weekend in March will be an ideal opportunity to learn about and participate in BHS TREC, the newest and most practicals of all equine disciplines.
Trewindsor Farm in Llangoedmor is hosting a TREC training day on Saturday March 6th followed by a competition the following day.
There are sections for newcomers and more experienced riders as part of the British Horse Society’s Kelly Marks winter series competition.
Polly Lloyd Owen has been a TREC enthusiast for eight years, is an international judge and has ridden for Wales in the British championships.
Trewindsor Farm is an ideal venue for those who are curious about the discipline, as it has two sand schools for the obstacles and large warm hall.
Over the weekend, Anthea Kendrick, one of leading TREC competitors Britain’s and 2001 World champion will join her in the POR (orienteering) section.
Anthea will be offering advice, instruction and support to enthusiasts at all levels. Over the past few years local groups have been set up in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.
