Herbrandston 4
Pennar Robins 0
Herbrandston picked up a thoroughly deserved home victory over Pennar Robins.
This surprise result moved Herbie up to fourth from bottom and was only Steve Batty’s team’s third win of the campaign. The visitors had a number of key players missing, but that wasn’t taking anything away from the home side that thoroughly deserved the winning league points. Jonathan Bennett opened the scoring just before the break, but in the second period they took control and Craig Nicholson, Scott Reid and Simon Mathias scored goals to put the result beyond doubt.
