Local athlete Adam Davies has reached a personal milestone to claim his third successive West Wales championship high-jump title at Swansea recently.
Adam, who competes for the Pembrokeshire Harriers, gained a personal best by clearing the bar at two-metres, which is a significant milestone in his career. That superb jump took him to the top of the current Under-20 UK rankings. A few weeks later he gained bronze at the Senior Welsh indoor championships and also won silver at the Under-20 Welsh championships.
His current good form has led to him being selected for the UK AAA’s indoor championships and also for Wales in the Celtic Cup.
