Two out of three Pembrokeshire clubs progressed in to the last eight of the prestigious West Wales Intermediate Cup competition.
Pennar Robins defeated Carmarthenshire league outfit Morriston Olympic 4 -1 at Bush Camp. The home side led one-nil at the break, Paul Lowe drilled home from 18 yards. In the second period the Robins gained the upper hand and scored further goals through Wayne Brunton (two) and Dean Driscoll to complete a good day at the office. Narberth also progressed to the next stage as they crushed Wellfield 5-1 at Jessie Road. The home side built up a four-goal cushion at the break and eased off the gas in the second half to cruise to a fantastic cup victory. Jordan Williams (two), Ritchie Adams, Morgan Preece and Tony Evans all scored for the triumphant home outfit. The only downside in the competition was that Neyland lost 4-2 at Bwlch Rangers, despite Joe Durrant and Wayne Parry scoring for the disappointed Nomads.
