Tenby 4
Solva 2
Tenby finished the stronger in an end-to-end battle to pick up a sweet revenge victory over Solva.
The home side lost four-nil at Solva just a few weeks ago, and Tenby manager Mickey Lewis was determined his side would not suffer the same fate.
Tom Meirion gave Tenby a 20th minute lead. The visitors equalised on the half-hour mark through Chris Garrett. The game was held-up for Tenby’s Ben Goldsmith, who was taken to hospital by ambulance, after suffering knee damage.
Five minutes in to the second period and David Price struck to give Solva the lead.
Tenby’s Phil Cattlin powered home a headed equaliser from a free kick. Sonny Phillips added a third with a wicked direct free kick. Five minutes from full time and teenager super-sub Jordan Richards made no mistake with a fourth to wrap up the points.
