Pennar Robins 3
Clarbeston Road 3
Clarbeston Road moves off the bottom of table after they came from behind to claim a precious league point at Pennar Robins.
The Robins looked to heading for a comfortable victory as they led 3-1 with 15 minutes to go. The visitors rolled-up their sleeves and Rhys Dalling added a second from penalty spot and Dan Rees scored an equaliser five minutes from the end.
It was no more than what the visitors deserved after getting thrashed at Hakin United last week, Steve Brown’s troops showed true character to get something when all looked lost.
Rhys Dalling gave the home side a 15th minute lead. Two minutes before the interval and Steve James scored following a goalmouth scramble.
Five minutes after the turnaround and Craig Brockway added a second from edge-of-the-box. Andrew Green scored a 30-yard screamer for Robins’ third – but the Road clawed their way back to earn an important draw that lifts them up to third from bottom and out of the relegation zone.
