Pennar Robins 1
Goodwick United 2
Goodwick United came from a goal behind to snatch a crucial victory over Pennar Robins at Bush Camp.
The home side were well on top in the first period. Paul Lowe struck a post, but on stroke of half-time made amends by scoring from the penalty spot after Nigel Delaney upended Wayne Brunton in the box.
Bernie Armstrong’s harsh words certainly worked in the second period. Goodwick’s Wayne O’Sullivan’s played a defence splitting ball that striker Danny Williams ran clear to calmly slot in the equaliser.
Five minutes from the end and Williams nodded home a Steve Evans cross from the right for the winner.
