Hakin United 9
Clarbeston Road 0
Top notch striker Paul ‘Jonah’ Jones struck four goals in Hakin United’s nine-goal demolition of Clarbeston Road at the Observatory.
A couple of months ago, The Vikings won 10-3 at Clarbie, this week Gary Dawes’ rampant Vikings were far too strong for the visitors.
The hosts led four-nil at the break. Ashley Bevan scored the opener with barely five minutes on the clock. Jonah added a second from penalty spot. Terry Bevan and Josh Youds added the third and fourth respectively.
The Vikings showed no mercy in the second half, scoring a further five goals without reply. Scott Davies was on target for the fifth, Jonah made no mistake from close-range for sixth. Teenage striker Youds added his second of the game for goal number seven.
Jonah completed the rout by adding two further goals to complete a very good day at the office for the Vikings, who now move up to second in the table as the visitors are firmly rooted bottom.
