Gymnasts from Haverfordwest Gymnastics Club took part in the women’s artistic national development club grades for 2008, hosted by City of Swansea gym club and Welsh Institute of Sport.
Gymnasts entered a grade according to either their age or ability.
They were asked to perform a set conditioning routine, testing their strength and flexibility and a routine on the floor, uneven bars and beam containing set elements. They also had to perform a set vault.
The gymnasts had to achieve a certain score to pass the grade, with high scorers achieving a distinction. The gymnasts were a credit to their club and showed that hard work over many months had paid off.
Grade six - Gemima Richards (pass), Amy MacDonald (pass), Zoe Phillips (pass), Ella Phillips (pass) Grade five - Iesha Henderson (pass), Brittany Campbell-Lawrence (distinction), and Hannah Thomas Grade four - Joanna Weedon (pass) Grade two - Katy Evans.
