Pennar Robins 8.
Solva 1.
High-flying Pennar Robins dished out an eight-goal hiding to Solva at Bush Camp.
As the scoreline suggests this clash was a one-sided affair.
The chirpy Robins led three-nil at half-time and scored a further five goals to complete a good day at the office.
The first three goals came in the space of the opening eight minutes.
Firstly, Arran Devine set-up Lee Brockway for the opener. Minutes later and Wayne Brunton and Lee Brockway combined to release Darren Shaw for an easy goal line tap-in. Devine chased a lost cause for the third, cutting in from the right and sweetly drilling into the bottom corner from 18 yards.
Brockway slotted home the fourth from inside the box. Striker Wayne Brunton struck a fine near-post finish for goal number five. Brockway completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot for the sixth. A brilliant build-up led to Dai Patterson finishing from 12 yards for the seventh. Brunton embarrassingly dispossessed defender Richard Bland for goal number eight.
Peter Cole’s Solva had the final say, as Andy Davies made no mistake with a simple close range finish.
