Llangwm 6.
Aberaeron 25.
Llangwm were never able to maintain momentum against Aberaeron at Pill Parks and in the final analysis could have few complaints in a disappointing home defeat.
Ian Griffiths tried to lead the home side by example alongside half backs James Dix and Andrew Harries but they were already 20-3 adrift at half time, with a Harries penalty all they could muster.
The mid Wales outfit opened their account with a penalty from centre Euryl Rees, followed up with a good try from full back Aled Davies. Dylan Evans, Rees and co-centre Daniel Forbes created the chance with some sharp handling.
Dylan Evans switched from creator to try scorer as he sliced through for a try which Rees converted and before the break some good work by the front row of Alex Stretton, Carwyn Evans and Deiniol Evans saw Deiniol Evans plough over for a try.
Andrew Harries added a second penalty for the Wasps and Hamish Nicholls, Nick Phillips and Aled Morgan created the platform but were unable to break down the Aber cover enough to score any tries.
Aberaeron made the long return trip home worth it as they also pouched a bonus point when Daniel Forbes raced through for their fourth try.
