Llandeilo 24.

Pembroke Dock Harlequins 0.

Pembroke Dock Harlequins went down to defeat against section leaders Llandeilo and although they were unable to score they were never overwhelmed by a team recording its sixth win on the trot.

Quins coach Lenny Scourfield wasn’t overly-impressed by the visitors as his makeshift team had chances but gave away soft points to let the homesters keep control.

He said: “We have no complaints about losing but I believe Llandeilo will lose that record soon and we look forward to entertaining them at Bierspool, especially if we have a full side.

“What they did do was show us how to take chances when they arise.”

The Quins were eight points behind at the break after winger Richard J. Cook crossed for Llandeilo and Lee Davies slotted a penalty.

Other home tries came from scrum half Osian Williams and full back Arwel Davies, with Lee Davies notching a second penalty and fly half Andrew Morgan dropping a goal.

That completed the home points tally and left the Harlequins without a single point to show for their efforts.
