Five Trots’ women ran the Cardiff 10km race. Ann Thomas finished in a time of 38 minutes 13 seconds, finishing 81st overall. Tracy Sharatt was 330th, Amanda Morgan 582nd, Pauline Thomas 629th and Oona Crawford 713rd.
Claire Clethero ran the Dumfries half marathon and was the third open female to finish. At the Ras Du Fry, Tegryn, five TROTs competed. Martin Davies came sixth, David Griffiths 12th, Claire Clethero 14th, Tom Furness 19th and Lon Morgan 20th.
A total of 17 Trots joined with 3,000 runners in the Swansea 10km race. Ian Williams and Ann Thomas represented Wales. Ian came 20th overall and was the fourth Welsh open man to finish. Ann Thomas was the second Welsh woman to finish and came 122nd overall. Mary Bowen Rees was second in her age category and came 252nd.
Positions are as follows: Kevin Griffiths 70th, Mike Evans 80th, Nicola Sykes 150th, Mel Watson 162nd, Mark Terry 172nd, Jon Hancock 214th, Dave Griffiths 258th, Caryl Jones 306th, Caroline Jones 321st, Lindy Eynon 471st, Ann Rowell 975th, Pauline Thomas 1230th and Alison Terry 1841st.
