Tenby Sailing Club recently held its end-of-season awards for the juniors.
On Wednesday, September 18, a number of youngsters were awarded RYA certificates for their achievements over the summer.
The awards were given under the guidance of chief instructor Harrison Richards and his team of volunteers.
In Stage 1, the following juniors were recognised: Olivia Dashfield, Lottie Dashfield, Sam Fecci, Geoff Martin, Oliver Martin, D'Arcy Taylor, Dylan Williams, Eva Corr, Alfie D'Ortez Hughes, and Alfie Green.
Stage 2 certificates were awarded to Eva Corr, Alfie D'Ortez Hughes, and Alfie Green.
Milo Bhattacherjee and Nia Jenkins received recognition in Stage 3.
The club recently saw the conclusion of its summer midweek series of dinghy racing.
On the evening of Tuesday, September 17, seven boats, including three Redwings, raced in a light breeze and blue sky.
James and Robin in the Redwing 241 took first place.
Peter and Sharon in the Scorpion 1995, and Jon Nuttall in the ILCA 7 took second and third place, respectively.
Club members can now look forward to an end-of-season party on Saturday, September 28, and the return of Terry Evan’s quizzes on Saturday, October 5, at 8pm.
