FOLLOWING a tricky first half, Narberth overcame Trebanos on Saturday in a comfortable win.
The Otters have always found Trebanos tricky to get a winning result, and it looked as if it could be more of the same after a very tough first half – with the score at 6-10 in favour of the visitors at the break.
However, Narberth stepped up and eventually ran out winners by a comfortable score of 13-36, with tries coming from full back Ashley Sutton, wings Rhys Harris and Dean James (two) and both second rows Alex Jenkins and Will Blackburn.
The remaining points came from the reliable boot of fly half Jonathan Rogers.
The man of the match was awarded to Will Blackburn for another excellent performance with several storming runs throughout the game.
With Brecon not playing on Saturday, Narberth now sit four points clear on top of the Championship West Division and remain unbeaten so far this season.
Next Saturday the Otters are at home to Tata Steel.
