NEWCASTLE Emlyn RFC celebrated promotion from Division One West as they secured runners-up spot behind champions Llangennech with a 20-23 win away at Felinfoel.
The Red and Whites went over for tries from Den James and Llyr Davies, with Steff Evans slotting both coversions and three penalties to ensure they finished the season on a high.
Third-placed Crymych are also promoted, but their final match was postponed after their scheduled opponents Llanelli Wanderers were unable to raise a team for the fixture.
Elsewhere Yr Hendy beat Aberystwyth 38-33 and in midweek Llangennech cemented top spot with a 17-10 win over Gorseinon, who finished behind Gowerton in fifth place.
