THERE were some high scores on the opening weekend of the Thomas Carroll Pembrokeshire County League, with some excellent individual performances and some very close finishes.
Tom Mansbridge and Sam Franklin hit half centuries before Saundersfoot (205-5) notched a thrilling win at Narberth (201-6) by just four runs.
An unbeaten half cenutury from Nicky Cope saw Cresselly (245-5) beat Burton (239-4) by 6 runs, after Toby Hayman had hit 158 not out for the hosts.
Kyle Marsh meanwhile scored 118 as Lawrenny (222-9) beat Herbrandston (58) by 164 runs, and Noah Davies hit a half century and took three wickets as Llangwm (196-8) won by 94 runs at Carew (102).
Andrew Miller took four wickets as Neyland (139) beat St Ishmaels (111) by 28 runs.
