Division 1: Whitland (120 all out) lost to Lawrenny (121-1) by 9 wickets
Lawrenny had the better of Whitland for the second time in a week - but this win was much simpler than the Duggie Morris nail biter after skittling the hosts for 120.
Brad Mcdermott-Jenkins took 4-29 and Jamie Lewis 3-36 as the Borderers never got going despite opener Dylan Blain hitting five boundaries in his 24.
But the only other real resistance came from skipper Matthew Davies (18), and No 9 Gethin Scourfield who helped take his side to three batting points with 23 (three fours).
And Joe Kidney's team were in no mood to hang around with the case.
Harry Thomas and Kurtis Marsh, who have formed a formidable opening partnership, piled on 85 before Whitland got some respite - Geraint Jones bowling Thomas for 36 off 22 balls (six fours and a six).
But Marsh continued the assault with seven fours and three sixes to finish unbeaten on 59 (41 balls), and Jamie Lewis (17) also hit three boundaries to finish the job in only 13.5 overs.
The win keeps Lawrenny second, 42 off leaders Neyland, while Whitland now sit just 11 points above the bottom two.
