Pembroke County Cricket Club Division 1: Neyland CC (201-3) beat Cresselly (200-8) by 7 wickets
It's been a pretty good week for Patrick Bellerby as he carried on from his Duggie Morris heroics to score an undefeated century in Neyland's win over Cresselly.
Sean Hannon's side maintained their grip on the title race by chasing down The Doves' total of 200-8 with seven overs to spare, Bellerby finishing 107 not out.
The visitors were put into bat but began well as Phil Williams and Dan Sutton out on 72, ended when the latter was caught by Sean Hannon off Ross Hardy for 32 (six fours).
Simon Cole came in and made 35 (six fours) but Creselly faltered late on as from 180-3, they lost five wickets for 20 runs.
There was 28 from Alex Bayley but it was opener Williams who held things together, eventually seventh man out after a rock solid 80 (10 fours).
For Neyland, Hardy (2-32), Andrew Miller (1-32), Tom Pritchard (1-20) and Geraint Rees (3-47) shared the wickets.
And the league leaders were then composed in their reply.
The score reached 73-0 before Nick Koomen was run out by Dan Sutton for 29 (five fours), but Ashley Sutton joined Bellerby in taking the score to 148 before he gave a catch to Simon Cole off Josh Lewis, having made 33 with three sixes.
Lewis then removed Ross Hardy (0) straight after thanks to Tom Arthur's catch to give him 2-68, but Bellerby kept building, eventually hitting 17 fours in his three figure knock.
Henry Durrant joined him, and cracked two fours and a six in his 22 not out, as Neyland's bid to retain the title stayed on course.
