Alec Colley Cup Round 1 reports from Thursday:
Narberth (73 all out) lost to Llangwm (96 all out) by 23 runs
Wickets tumbled at Narberth as Llangwm went through to the quarter finals despite being shot out for 96.
The visitors reached their total thanks mainly to Phil Llewellyn (24) and Andrew Harries (19), but Richard Howell's slow stuff kept a lid on things as he took 5-18, with Jake Thomas taking 3-23.
But the home side then fell 23 runs short in their reply as only Ceri Davies (14) and Tom Hill (12) ever got going - with Toby Asson keeping Llangwm in control with 4-12.
There was also 3-10 from Mike Williams, and 2-23 from Llewellyn.
Umpires: Glyn Cole and Phil Griffiths.
Scorers: Emma Richards and Cerys Griffiths.
Llanrhian (103-4) lost to Haverfordwest (104-5) by 5 wickets
It was a low scoring affair at Llanrhian as 25 not out from Filigi Varghese steered Haverfordwest through.
Town skipper Nigel Morgan opted to field but then saw former teammate Nigel Delaney and Mike Lawrence steer the Cows to 63-0.
Lawrence was then LBW to Lewis Rhead (1-19) for 19 and Delaney reached 41 (five fours) before also being trapped in front by Varghese.
The latter also bowled Lion Williams (10) from the final ball of the innings to take 2-14, after Jack Marchant had removed RV Jones (13).
Chasing 104, the visitors then had to work hard in their reply after Nitin Mathias (7) and Max Rodriguez (3) were dismissed by Lawrence (2-32), and Delaney (1-22) bowled Marchant (1) to leave the holders 33-3.
But skipper Morgan made 18 to steady matters before being caught by 'RV' off Llion Williams (1-10), and Anthony John removed John Ebeneezer (4).
But no 5 Varghese hit five fours in his knock and was joined by George Thomas, who struck three boundaries in her 18 not out, to see the visitors home in the 18th over.
Umpires: Tony Walsh and Dave Brandon.
Scorer: Natalie Thomas.
St Ishmaels (132-6) beat Whitland (106-6) by 26 runs
Mark Mathias blasted 83 not out to lead Tish into the quarter finals against Whitland.
Mathias cracked boundaries aplenty while Robbie Thomas made 20, although Rob Owen (3-19) and Steffan Lee (2-32) kept Whitland in it.
But the Borderers never really got close to reaching their target despite good knocks from Dan Blain (34), Harri Jones (26), and Gethin Scourfield (19), while spinner Danny Flynn (2-18) led the Tish bowling.
Tish sponsored by Judith and Hugh Richards.
Lawrenny (101-2) beat Pembroke Dock (99-8) by 8 wickets
It was a comfortable win for Lawrenny as a half century from Steve Campbell ensured they made quick work of their chase against Pembroke Dock.
The visitors were restricted to 99-8 in 20 overs, with Peter (22) and George Kingdom (18) top scoring.
But the Dock were kept in check by the Cole boys, as Steve (2-28), Luke (2-16), and Phil (2-7) all had wickets.
The latter also hit 17 as Campbell finished 51 not out, while Geraint Blair (1-35) and Steve Alford (1-35) took wickets in vain for the home side.
Umpire: Allan Hansen.
Scorer: Craig Butland.

St Ishmaels v Cresselly - Tuesday, July 2nd.
