The South Pembs Sharks female rugby hub played in a recent festival at Haverfordwest RFC - with Stradey Sospans, Taff Valley Tigers, Wiberod and Cleddau Wildcats the other hub sides involved.

Each team played four short games, giving them plenty of rugby game time.

The Sharks' Under 9s were undefeated in their games - showing great skills and tagging and playing with great energy.

The Under 11s took part in their first festival of contact rugby. There was certainly no evidence of nerves as they tackled hard and made a fantastic start, winning two games and narrowly losing the other two.

The Under 13s won all of their games. They againtackled with force and were clinical with the off loads and try scoring.

The under 15s played skillfully and with determination in all of their games. In just their second season of rugby they won their first game convincingly and just lost their next two in close contests.

Afterwards, team organisers issued a big thank you to the players, parents, coaches - especially Ben, Ross, Rochard and Joe, and to Ty Francis too for his sponsorship.
