St Clears 1
CHAMPIONS Hakin United got back to winning ways with a good display at battling St Clears.
After last week’s hiccup at losing at home to Tenby, Gary Dawes’ men reacted positively with workmanlike performance to secure three points.
Centre back Gareth Fawcett opened the scoring with a well-taken goal on the half-hour mark, but the Saints battled back to level matters with a good strike by Ian Derbyshire. Just before the break and James Stanmore scored with a wicked volley that gave the Vikings a slender 2-1 cushion at half time.
Ten minutes after the interval and Justin Harding added a third goal, the striker latching onto a poor Nathan Evans clearance and slotting past James Dixon.
