Monkton Swifts 3-2 West Dragons.
LIAM Butland scored a stunning hat-trick to seal an important victory for Monkton Swifts against second from bottom West Dragons.
The visitors took the lead in the 15th minute, as Jordan Thomas made no mistake from the penalty spot, and this gave the Dragons a one-goal cushion at the interval.
Five minutes after the brake and Butland equalised with a thumping 20-yard effort, ten minutes later and Butland steered a right footed shot into the net from close range.
Jordan Thomas equalised for the Dragons in the 76th minute, the defender unleashing an unstoppable right foot shot from 25 yards out for his second goal of the game.
Butland completed his treble ten minutes from the end and his third goal secured three valuable points for Mark Powell’s battling Monkton Swifts outfit.
