DUE to the continued success of their Monday night sessions, Haverfordwest Judo Club is starting a new class on Saturday mornings for juniors.
The class will cater for beginners and existing judo players aged seven or older. Children will be able to learn judo and progress in the sport by grading through the Welsh Judo Association at the club.
The sessions will be run by David Weatherburn, who has introduced judo into local primary schools in recent years - and anyone who took part in that scheme, as well as newcomers, are encouraged to sign up to the new class.
Sessions begin on Saturday, January 25 in the gymnasium at Sir Thomas Picton School, from 10am until 12pm. Mat fees will be £2 per session and the first session will be free to non club members.
