Pennar Robins 1
Johnston 2
NICKY Woodrow bagged two goals for Johnston in their slender win against Pennar Robins at Bush Camp.
The Tigers failed to make the most of their scoring opportunities as the hosts dug deep and kept themselves in this clash right to the final whistle.
The visitors got off to a dream start when Woodrow headed in Chris Ormond’s flighted free-kick in the box. But two minutes before half time and the hosts equalised as Phil Thompson struck from close range following a corner.
The visitors put the result beyond doubt when Woodrow scored the winner in the 76th minute. The striker chested the ball down and unleashed a low right-footed drive past goalkeeper Michael Murray from 18 yards out to secure the Tigers’ seventh win from 15 matches.
