Neyland 5
A BRILLIANT hat-trick by Patrick Bellerby earned Neyland a crucial victory at struggling Saundersfoot Sports.
This was the Nomads fourth win of the campaign, but more importantly this result pushes them eleven points clear of the relegation zone. The visitors led two-nothing at the interval and secured the points with three further goals in the second period and three of their five goals were scored with headers.
Nicholas Koomen headed in Mike Chandler’s corner for the opener in the 35th minute and seven minutes later Bellerby nodded home another dangerous Chandler cross.
Shortly after the break and Chris Millward pulled a goal back for the hosts, but minutes later Bellerby buried the Nomads’ third.
Substitute Niall Day was on target with the fourth in the 65th minute and five minutes from the end Bellerby completed his treble with powerful far post header.
