A couple have proved that raising money for charity with a seven mile carriage drive is not the stuff of nonsense.
On May 1st, Gordon and Priscilla Bubb drove their two ponies Stuff and Nonsense from Brongest, near Newcastle Emlyn on a seven mile run to raise money for Breast Cancer Care Cymru.
They were joined on the drive, which was completed in one hour, 20 minutes, by two other carriages driven by four members of the Snow family from Rhydlewis.
The carriage was painted pink and everyone donned pink outfits — even the ponies — to tie-in with the charity’s colour.
Priscilla, who has battled breast cancer herself, has so far raised £260, with money still being collected.
