J. J. Morris reports: A good entry of cattle sold to a good trade. Grazing cows and store cattle were still in good demand. Once again the sheep section was keenly contested.

J. J. Morris reports: Another excellent entry in the sheep section (808). Prime hoggets again sold to a steady trade, cull ewes, once again, sold to a fast trade, but quality in the ewe and lamb section was very mixed. Quality was also the main factor affecting trade in the calf ring.

J. J. Morris reports: A seasonal entry (418), the store lamb section saw a fast trade, with quality being very mixed, cull ewes were once again selling well and the ewe and lamb section sold to a steady trade throughout.

March 25th
Dai Lewis reports: A larger entry in all sections (1,159), with the first new season lambs ready for the Easter trade. They sold to a brisk run throughout, as did hoggetts once again.Ewe and lamb couples sold to a fluid run, while there was fierce competition for cull ewes and rams once again.
New season lambs overall average: 219.0p/kg. Leading price: 228, Bowen, Brynteilo, Penybont, Carmarthen.
Hoggets overall average 190.7p/kg. Leading price: 199, Grodziki, Llysywern, Pentrecwrt, Llandysul.
Store hoggets overall average £46. Top price: £54, Chittery, Morawel, Blaenporth, Cardigan.
Ewe and lamb couples overall average £90. Top price: £152, Thomas, Clungarthen, Trelech.
