November 30th J. J. Morris reports – With it being the winter fair at Builth Wells there were a few less sheep forward, but once again a strong trade was evident. Prime lambs sold to a brisk trade. The store lamb trade was also buoyant, with a top price of £61.50 (186p per kilo). Cull ewes again sold well with a mixture of sheep forward. A few more calves forward this week.

December 2nd J. J. Morris reports another excellent entry of 1,643 head. Once again, store lambs sold to a buoyant trade. There were a few in-lam ewes on offer, the best pen topping at £101. Cull ewes continue to sell well.
