Debbie and Ron Thomas of the Rowden Stud won three top awards at the Horse of the Year Show.
Supreme in the Children’s Riding Pony competition was the six-year-old black mare, Greylands Maid of the Dark, bred by Judith and Alan Thomas, of Ammanford and by Broteifi Scoundrel, the stallion owned by Sulwyn and Jill Jones, of Cardigan. This pony is owned by Debbie and Ron and ridden was Katie Roberts.
Taking reserve supreme was eight-year-old bay mare Mount Pleasant Arrabella bred by Valmai Thomas and her father, John Davies, of Treffgarne, out of Mount Pleasant Golden Dawn. Arrabella was ridden by Joshua Thompson (pictured).
Debbie and Ron also won the show pony championship with the six-year-old bay mare, Diptford Amazing Grace ridden by Katie Roberts.
