J. J. Morris reports a seasonal entry in all sections. Store cattle sold well throughout. Barren cows were on a par with national trends. Calves once again sold well. After the weekend’s atrocious weather, there were fewer lambs forward, selling to a similar trade as the previous week. Cull ewes again sold to a flying trade.

J. J. Morris reports: Despite it being a wet day, there was a good entry of over 1,060 head of sheep. With the majority of the entry being store lambs, an excellent trade was achieved. Fewer ewes forward and a lot less were forward in the breeding section, due to the time of year.

Dai Lewis Auctioneers reports: Similar numbers forward in all sections. Fat lambs saw another upward surge, with particular demand for lightweight sorts and with a fast trade throughout. More numbers needed to meet buyers orders. Stores and culls again held at their recent strong levels.
