Grace Gibbon, of Haverfordwest, has qualified to compete at Horse of the Year Show.
Tens of thousands of competitors set out each year to become one of the coveted finalists at HOYS.
This world famous horse show is the pinnacle of the domestic equestrian calendar.
Twelve-year-old Grace and her pony Small-Land Screenplay, have qualified for the SEIB Search for a Star Ponies Final.
On qualifying for the show, Grace commented: “I love being in the crowd watching HOYS, so having the chance to compete there will be a dream come true.”
Following its most successful show ever in 2008, this year’s show will take place from October 7th to 11th at Birmingham’s NEC In addition, the much acclaimed HOYS Dressage Special will return for the 2009 show with four special guest riders, alongside the thrilling Pony Club mounted games for the Prince Philip Cup and the ever popular Osborne Refrigerators Scurry Racing.
For those looking to shop, the gigantic HOYS Retail Village is a shopping haven, selling everything from top hats to hair tongs.
With two arenas, 1,500 horses, 1,400 competitors and a huge variety of shopping at more than 250 stands, 1.2million square feet of the NEC is transformed into a horse lover’s paradise.
