J. J. Morris reports: A total entry of 1,718 head of sheep was entered. Store lambs, as in previous weeks, were in great demand, with a top price of £59.50 and averaging £43.50. Breeding sheep were mixed in quality, with the best pen of ewes peaking at £81, and rams topping at £130. Cull ewes met a steady trade throughout, with the best making £70.

Dai Lewis Cyf Auctioneers reports: A larger number forward in all sections. Lambs saw another brisk run. Stores saw a fast run, with more farmer buyers looking for lambs to eat excess grass.
Sheep (1,063): Lambs: Light maximum 133.3, average 133.3; Standard maximum 149.5, average 138.2; Medium maximum 150.2, average140.9; Heavy maximum 132.6, average 130.2; Others average 95.2. Overall average: 139.2 p/kg.
Store lambs overall average £44.91. Breeding ewes: £82.50 Jones, Maesbeili, Coedybryn, Llandysul.
Culls: Rams overall average £47.20: Cull ewes overall average £45.16.
