Practical ways for farmers to tackle spiralling farm energy costs will be on demonstration at an event near Llandysul next week.
‘Farm energy — save it, produce it’, will take place at Danycoed Farm, Pentrecwrt, Llandysul on November 11th from 2pm to 4pm.
It will demonstrate how farmers can reduce electricity and energy costs through better management and efficiency and how to generate energy on farms, through sources such as anaerobic digestion, biomass, bio fuels, solar panels, hydro-electricity and wind power.
The day is part of a series of strategic information events in a new initiative organised by Menter a Busnes on behalf of Farming Connect, aiming to provide strategic information for the farming and forestry industries in Wales.
