A COMMUNITY pantomime in St Davids has been hailed a huge success.
Organised by Brenda Lloyd, the fun-filled production of Once Upon A Time was performed in City Hall on January 30 and 31.
The cast was made up of members of the local Cub Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides and St Davids Youth Club.
Brenda, a member of Solva Amateur Dramatic Society, said: "The aim was to raise funds and highlight the profiles of the organisations and to encourage new members.
“The youngsters were well supported by their leaders, parents, friends, local businesses and the public.”
Brenda added: “Despite the problems of rehearsing three different groups in three different locations on three different evenings, it was a resounding success on both nights.
“They were also working towards their badges, building on confidence and life skills and bringing fun and pleasure to the community.”
The cast would like to thank their supporters, especially Menevia WI, Moshulu, Top Shop Solva and CK’s, as well as people who contributed to the raffle and the behind the scenes and front of house helpers.
