SWIMMERS of all ages braved the elements to take part in the annual New Year’s Day swim at Whitesands Beach.
The event was organised by the St Davids Penknife Club to raise money for the St Davids RNLI and the Porthmawr Surf Lifesavers – both of which were there on the day to ensure the safety of the swimmers.
A spokesman from the club said: “We had over 50 brave souls who went in the water and so far we've raised over £1000 with more to come.”
