Top price was £842 for a pair of Limousin steers from Davies, Tyllwyd, Dryslwyn, with heifers selling to a top price of £698 for four Limousins from Rees and Sons, Lower Lamborough, Wiston.
Young bulls sold to a top price of £770 for a Limousin from Jones, Horton Nurseries, Horton, Gower and averaged £450 while steers averaged £520 and heifers averaged £460.

J. J. Morris reports a good turnout in the cattle sections, with more then 100 store cattle and weaned calves, 46 barren cows and seven dairy cows. There was a brisk trade on store cattle, with the best steers topping £695 and heifers £685. Barren cows met a strong trade, with the best making £875 and the top price dairy cow was £1,400.
There was a smaller entry of hoggets, but a brisk trade, with an overall market average of 124.5ppk. Cull ewes were again in great demand, with a top price of £70. The top price for ewes and lambs was £98.
Calves were similar to the previous week, with the best bull at £148 and heifer at £145.

Dai Lewis Auctioneers reports: A larger entry in all sections (376). Trade was again very brisk. Barren Cows saw another fast run with strong demand for all grades and breeding stock saw a steady run throughout. Weaned calves were more selective, but store cattle sold to a faster run.
