DRAGON LNG has been recognised for its commitment to employees.
The company has joined an exclusive group of UK employers eligible to display the sought-after Investors in People (IiP) logo and plaque.
The award reflects 18 months of work towards 39 accreditation standards.
Launched in 1991, IiP is designed to help companies develop their performance and continuous improvement through their people.
Dragon LNG was supported by Nia Marshall of Landsker Business Solutions Ltd.
Dragon LNG HR advisor Tanya Boswell said: “We are committed to maintaining our IiP accreditation and to keep improving our business.”
General manager Colin Orr Burns added: “Achieving the prestigious IiP award is a visible acknowledgement of the efforts that Dragon has made over the past few years to become an employer of choice in the area.
“We are nothing without our people, so ensuring that we recruit, train and deploy the talents of the best people is critical to our success.
“IiP gives a focus for our efforts and I am delighted that our achievements have been acknowledged in this way.
“This prestigious award is a measure of their efforts, talent and commitment.”
