Pembrokeshire goes to the polls today (Thursday) and residents are urged to make their vote count.
There are 47 seats up for grabs as the people of Pembrokeshire will choose who they want to represent them at County Hall.
Councillors are responsible for everything from bin collections to protecting the most vulnerable people in society through social services.
Only 15 of the 80 Town and Community Council’s 115 wards are being contested.
Ninety-three polling stations will be open throughout the county until 10pm. County council ballot papers will be white and town and community council ballot papers will be lilac in colour.
The votes will be counted tomorrow (Friday, May 4th) at Sir Thomas Picton School sports hall from 9am and results will be posted live at www.westerntelegraph.co.uk.
