A huge thank you has been issued by Breast Test Wales to the community of Milford Haven for supporting its mobile visit to the area.
The unit, which has been based at Tesco car park since February will be moving out today (Friday).
Alison Clement, a screening engagement specialist with the NHS service said: “We are very grateful to Tesco for allowing us to site our mobile unit within their car park. Their support is invaluable in ensuring that we can take our service into the heart of the community, making it as accessible as possible to local women.
“We would also like to thank all the women who have attended for their breast screening appointment, and everyone in the community who has supported us and helped to promote the programme for us. We look forward to returning to the area in 2015.”
Any woman who is concerned about changes in her breast during the time before the unit returns, is advised to visit their family doctor.
