Anyone going down to Pembroke Castle tomorrow (Saturday)will be in for a big surprise, as Monkton Events Committee is having a teddy bears’ picnic.
All people need to bring is a teddy bear, a blanket and a picnic to take part in the afternoon from 2pm-5pm, which will include activities such as teddy bear olympics and tales of teddy bear adventures.
Tickets are £5 per family of three children, including entrance and a raffle ticket with prizes donated by many local businesses.
There will be story-telling, arts and crafts, a best-dressed teddy competition and a name the teddy competition.
Proceeds will go to the Pembroke Festival and Monkton Events Committee. Pembroke Castle is donating £1 for every cup of coffee sold in the cafe as long as you have your teddy.
